Kathryn Macdonald

Kathryn Macdonald BSc (Ost)

Director Kathryn first became interested in Osteopathy from her hockey playing days.

It takes four years of full-time study to qualify as an Osteopath, and since the Osteopathic Act 2000 General Medicine has been more encouraging of their work, in fact Kathryn worked in the GP surgery for 10 years even gaining an NHS contract for acute low back pain patients in 2009.

As well as being an Osteopath and Managing Director of Manor House Kathryn finds time to be an accomplished hockey coach having coached at Junior International Level and Clubs Men’s and Ladies National League.

Kathryn recently completed her Master in Health Care.

Louise Cartwright

Louise Cartwright (M.Ost) VTCT

Louise joined us at Manor House Practice in July 2010 after qualifying with a Masters in Osteopathy in June 2010.

Prior to joining us, Louise worked as a Massage Therapist in the West End of London, to date Louise has gained 17 years’ experience of Massage Therapy. Osteopathically, Louise has a professional interest in treating sports injuries, pre/post-partum pregnancy patients and ergonomics.

Aya Attaf

Aya Attaf BSc, MSc (Ost)

Aya is a qualified osteopath with a master’s degree from the University College of Osteopathy and registered with the General Osteopathic Council.

She has experience treating patients of all backgrounds and during her studies developed special interests in sports, women’s health, and older adults. Using evidence to inform her practise, Aya is a thoughtful practitioner who works collaboratively with patients to understand their needs and goals. Developing tailored management and treatment plans using a variety of manual therapy techniques, spinal, and joint articulations to relieve pain, in addition to kinesiology taping and exercise advice to relieve pain and empower patients in their rehabilitation.

Susie James

Susie James

Susie has been with us here at Manor House since Oct 2006 having qualified With the SMAE institute Maidenhead January 2005. Susie is friendly and stands by the three C’s of caring, compassion and consideration. There is nothing she hasn’t seen before and if it is within her ability to treat you, she will. Susie specialises in corns and ingrown toenails.

Tim Lane

Tim Lane Msc (Herb.Med) – Independent Medical Herbalist

Tim underwent four years of training; he qualified in 1995 and joined the practice in 1996 and gained an MSc in Herbal Medicine in 2009.

 A key tenet of herbal medicine is that one does not just treat at a symptomatic level, but assesses each person on an individual level and chooses herbs appropriate to that. At the root of all illness is a person, and that is always my starting point with any treatment protocol.

 

 

Doneva Davidson

Doneva Davidson MA, CGLI, VTCT, Vodder MLD &CDT, MSMA, Usui Reiki Master

Doneva has been with us at the practice since February 2012.

Doneva has over 30 years’ experience in the holistic, sport and beauty industry both as a therapist and lecturer and offers a wide variety of treatments to pamper from top to toe. She uses an intuitive approach utilising skills from various healing techniques and is extremely passionate about individually designing treatments to enhance well-being and increase vitality.

Jane Campbell

Jane qualified in 1995 as a Beauty Therapist, Aromatherapist and Electrologist she progressed to Thermology treatments and qualified in 1997. Jane is a member of the guild of Beauty Therapists. Jane has been with us at the practice since 2009.

Cath Hutchison

Cath Hutchison IIHHT, VTCT

Cath has been a qualified sports and body massage therapist since 2003. She started her training to massage her husband before their races on their tandem and solo bicycles, helping their bid to gain competition records and championships. Cath joined us in January 2017.

Prof Richard D Graham

Prof Richard D Graham FHEA, AcM

Richard joined the practice in November 2016.

Richard is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council as a physiotherapist and is qualified to practice physiotherapy, acupuncture, sports therapy, electrotherapy and manipulation He has been a health care practitioner for over 30 years (www.natramed.co.uk) and has at one time or another been a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists, the British Medical Acupuncture Society and the British (Traditional) Acupuncture Council. He is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Authority, holds an Acupuncture Masters qualification and was awarded a visiting Professorship by the Health Sciences University of Mongolia in 2004.

Richard also runs the Charity Physiotherapy Volunteers Overseas and is physiotherapist for Norwich Soccer seniors football club.

Frances Arnold

Frances qualified as a Health Kinesiologist in 2002. Since then she has worked successfully with people of all ages on a wide variety of problems and goals.

 

 

 

Susan Woods

Susan Woods MCFHP, MAFHP

Susan qualified as a Foot Healthcare Practitioner at the SMAE Institute in November 2016 and joined the practice in December 2016. She will be offering appointments on Saturdays for clients unable to get to us during the week.

Manuel Gonzalez

Manuel Gonzalez B.Ost

Manuel completed his degree in Osteopathy with Honours at the College of Osteopaths in London. Before graduating he gained experience working as a physical therapist in a personal training studio to expand his interest in exercise-based rehabilitation. Manuel enjoys adapting his treatment to the person, as well as making sure they actively get involved in their recovery. He is happy to include a variety of techniques in his treatment such as soft and deep tissue massage, joint articulations and manipulations and a variety of osteopathic techniques. His has a special interest in chronic pain and hip conditions.

Charlotte Power

Charlotte Power

Charlotte is a Level 4 Sports and Body Massage therapist, having qualified in June 2018. She has the knowledge and enthusiasm to undertake any treatment needed to help people regain their health and mobility. Outside of the practice, Charlotte has always been a lover of sport, playing and coaching football for Bungay Town Ladies since 2008, this enhanced her interest in this career path due to having many treatments for her sporting injuries. Charlotte joined us at the practice in December 2018.

Laura Colman

Laura Colman

Laura has been holding counselling sessions since 2016 when she trained at the University of East Anglia, working with a wide variety of people and difficulties, such as anxiety, depression & bereavement. Person centred Counselling is about providing a space in which you can be yourself in. You set the direction, the pace and I work to provide what you need from the relationship.  I will be beside you, listening and sensitively reflecting back what I am understanding to help you find your way. Whilst working in a person-centred way I also, when appropriate draw upon my own professional and personal experiences of CBT based theory and/or goal-oriented work.

Gemma Timson

Gemma Timson

Gemma joined Manor House January 2024. She is a qualified Beauty Therapist specializing in a wide range of holistic treatments and Oncology massage with knowledge and understanding too the needs of personal care and treatments.
